Promoting CNG In The US and Bolivia

Help me to move the conversion of vehicles to Natural Gas in the United States forward. Contact your Congressmen, forward this or send your own message to your contacts.  We need Natural Gas as a transportation fuel in the USA now.  Contact us if you need our help.  We are always happy to hear from you.  Take a look and see if you agree with what we have to say.  Thanks for your time..

I am Joel D. Willits, General Manager of Border South Investments, LLC, a company based in Oklahoma with offices in South America. Border South Investments, LLC has established a division for the promotion of Compressed Natural Gas filling stations and the conversion of vehicles to Natural Gas: BSI-CNG.

We are the North American Agent for Agira  http://www.agira.com.ar/en/ one of the oldest manufacturers of CNG systems and equipment in the world.   The compressors in their systems are – Made in USA!

The United States is far behind most of the world in the development of CNG as a vehicle fuel.

According to the Gas Vehicle Report, these are the top ten countries.

Country/Number of Vehicles/% of Total NGVs

Iran/2,859,386/18.82%

Pakistan/2,850,500/18.76%

Argentina/1,900,000/12.50%

Brazil/1,694,278/11.15%

India/1,100,000/7.24%

China/1,000,000/6.58%

Italy/779,090/5.13%

Ukraine/390,000/2.57%

Columbia/348,747/2.30%

Thailand/300,581/1.98%

The USA with only 112,000 natural gas vehicles out of 246,000,000 vehicles in the U.S. is less than a percent of a percent…these vehicles are served by only 1,014 operating CNG filling stations nationwide.  This is unconscionable!  The fact that the USA is so slow in adopting the CNG technology hurts my sense of patriotism!  Bangladesh has 566 filling stations!  The City of Buenos Aries alone has over 6,000 CNG filling stations!  Oklahoma has only 72 stations!  We all need to make the effort to assure that CNG becomes a major transportation fuel in the USA.

Developing the CNG business requires the involvement of National, State and local governments, fleet owners and the general public all of whom want reliable clean fuel at lower costs.

April 11, 2010, President Obama said:
“If you’re a business that needs to transport goods, I’m challenging you to replace your old fleet with a clean energy fleet that’s not only good for your bottom line, but good for our economy, good for our country and good for our planet.”

—President Barack Obama, speaking at United Parcel Service in Maryland

Further, he announced his green fleet initiative which ensures that by 2015, all new vehicles purchased for US federal agencies will be electric, gas-electric hybrid, or alternatively fueled.

How can other countries around the world have nearly 14,000,000 natural gas vehicles and the USA, with enormous gas reserves, have only 112,000 NGVs and most of those are buses and garbage trucks?

Let your congressmen and senators know of your concern about the lack of emphasis toward CNG, and that developing the industry will create millions of jobs, improve the environment, boost the economy and reduce our dependency on imported oil.   We need to make every effort to reduce or remove government imposed restrictions that restrict the development of the CNG industry.  They should create tax incentives and programs to facilitate CNG development. It should be a major talking point in the current Presidential Campaign and all other public debates.

BSI-CNG wants to contribute to the expansion of the CNG industry in any way we can.  It is our goal to see CNG filling stations installed everywhere all across the USA in much greater numbers and help facilitate the conversion of more cars and trucks to CNG.

We are working with a pool of venture capitalists toward building a multi-billion dollar investment fund that is directed toward developing financing programs for business minded people who would like to get into the CNG industry.  Agira intends to build manufacturing plants in America as the market for equipment grows.  We are able to supply everything for your fleet from conversion kits to Turn-Key Engineering Procurement & Construction services for filling stations or the installation of equipment in existing gas stations.  We can help with property acquisition and, as indicated, help arrange financing.   It is a huge market.  We are trying to do everything we can to make CNG available everywhere.

Join us!

Non renewable energy sources, solar, wind, etc., are all important and research and development must continue.

Natural Gas –  CNG – is our gateway to the future!

God Bless America!
